Resident DJ, Dark Soul
DJ Dark Soul is our resident DJ. The one in the hat, Dark Soul, has over 35 years of experience behind the decks. Known on the Birmingham scene as one of the original Ded Skool Dizko DJS, Dark Soul weaves between trad, Dark Wave, Post Punk, Industrial, Alt 80s and a sprinkling of EBM.
Monster Mash is another of DJ Dark Soul’s club nights (during goth events in Whitby), and the tri-annual Alternative 80s (also in Whitby) is where he can be found behind the decks, underneath one of his many signature hats.

Dark Souls 1 (2nd November 2024)
Victor Helsing is a Goth/ Alternative DJ who has being running his night Resurrection – The Hell N Back Club in Scarborough for over 10 years. Victor is the resident DJ at Bats in the Attic in Morecombe.

VISRA
Dark Souls 2- (26th April 2025)
DJ of darker styles, hosting niche underground events. VISRA runs Nightbreed and INSURGENCE in his home city Newcastle Upon Tyne as resident DJ, working alongside his wife Angel Vampire as host.
VISRA has DJed at Resistanz Festival (Sheffield), Bunker 13 (Leeds), Infest Afterparty [Strange Events, Manchester], Shadow Factory (Whitby), The Gothic Gathering (Whitby), Dominion Club (Glasgow), Beat:Cancer and many more over the past 7 years.
VISRA is an enthusiastic venturer of new goth music, bringing a variety of old and newer styles of Goth Rock, Post-Punk, Cold/Darkwave, EBM and beyond to Dark Souls.
Ted WildBillButtock
Dark Souls 3- (1st November 2025)
Ted WildBillButtock is a West Midlands based alternative DJ, specialising in Gothic Rock, Post-Punk, New Wave, Punk, Industrial and Shoegaze.
Ted has been one of the resident DJs at Birmingham’s long running Zombie club since 2019.
Previously he spent a couple of years DJing at Birmingham’s Funeral Nation and at Crypt club, also in Birmingham. Before that, he was resident alternative DJ for seven years at The Giffard Arms in Wolverhampton and he is also another original Ded Skool Dizko DJ.
He runs his own sporadic specialist gothic rock night, Club Dawnrazor, currently running monthly at Merlins in Birmingham.
Ted has DJed twice at Whitby Goth Weekend’s main event at the Spa and at Nostalgia club night.

Miss Plastik
Dark Souls 5- (29th October 2026)
Introducing our guest DJ for Dark Souls 5, the incomparable Miss Plastik. True Mistress of the Decks and a powerhouse in the goth and alternative community.
As one half of the legendary Bunker 13, she’s spent over a decade commanding dancefloors and transforming shadow soaked rooms into pulsing sanctuaries for music lovers. Her sets are a journey through the darker edges of sound; expect pounding industrial, haunting darkwave and filthy electronica.
Rip those fishnets, shine that latex and lace up your best dancing boots, Miss Plastik isn’t here to mess around, and she’ll have you moving until the lights come up!
